Ventrilo or Teamspeak

Alright guys, well since i have a CS server for CZ on gameservers.com i can get a nice discount on a server.

So what do you guys use more ? Ventrilo or Teamspeak ?

Personally I have both.. so I dont care.



Ive seen some of you come in the current vent, due to the fact that its only a 15member vent, I've decided that if alot of people would like to chat and stuff, i could get a vent.

So lets hear it :)

I cant really explain it so i'll drop that, but i've used both vent and ts(teamspeak first) and i've come to the conclusion that vent is better.

Teamspeak is nice except when 2 or more people are talking at the same time.Ventrilo don't have issues with this.However,i still like teamspeak more than ventrilo.

I use ventrilo, Also i have a 100 slot ventrilo server if you'll like to save a bit of money :D (located in australia though)

Ah ha, no point in +1'ing when you have already used the poll at the top of the page ;)
and nobody quote what i just said and +1 it :D


I have always used TS as i find it more user friendly and easier to use in general. Less bandwidth hungry aswell, so you can chat to everyone. Even if they are on a slower ADSL plan, it wont cause ingame LFS ping spikes.

ventrilo is better cuz voice are cleaner but ... like d1 king said that take a lot more bandwidth
teamspeak isnt bad at all and take less bandwidth

drifty, you're actually wrong about voice. Voice in TS and ventrilo is exactly the same, well in my experience there's nothing different about teamspeak or ventrilo. I dont really care what to use, but in my opinion Teamspeak it is.  :)
