Over 70 tracks, Photomode with almost dedicated features for photographers, A-spec and B-Spec mode, and GT life along with an implanted course maker. The most disappointed feature that some of you will squirm a bit after you read this as confirmed by Kazunori himself...

and that despite their best efforts to respond to criticism about standard car interiors, they were not able to implement cockpit camera (even one similar to GTPSP’s) in GT5 – a source of some disappointment to Kazunori, who is never happy to let down his fans and is probably his own biggest critic.

I'll probably be fine without cockpit view, as half to 70 percent of the time I just driving with hood view (pure habit). What do you guys think? Maybe they might release a patch later which will be able to let us have cockpit view but not the cockpit? Or just leave it alone by itself?

Mhh I'm 50/50 about that, I like cockpit view (if you can set it up as you want, 89 fov ftw).
As I'm pretty sure cars like 180sx will not be premium which would basically mean no cockpit view and no hd model!

Time will tell but it's a lil disappointment.

I still wonder how they pick out which cars are premium and which ones aren't. The Prius, old school supra and rx7 are premium, and they ARE OLD (well except for the prius). Street drifting won't be the same without cockpit view >.<.

Well if cockpit view was as bad as in forza I wouldn't complain.
But they achieved to make it look properly (bless the higher FOV).

The cockpit in GT5 looks amazing compared to Forza.
