GTX 560 TI
« on: January 06, 2012, 12:33:26 AM »
Hi guys my GTX 560 TI finally arrived today, replacing my crappy GT 240 but then when i replace the card the screen goes blank and comes up with no signal! Then i replace it again with the GT 240 it works. So... I dont really know whats wrong..It might be because i have a crappy 500w power supply without the 2-6 pin PCI E wire. but i did connect the 2-6 pin power connecter adapter to my molex connecter, so i think its the power supply i think i have to buy a new one.. So yeah GT 240 still works but GTX 560 TI comes up with no signal.

My spec:

Asus m4n68t-m v2 mobo
AMD X4 955 black edition 3.2ghz CPU
4gb ram

Do any of you guys know why its doing this? Is it cause of the graphics card or power supply?

Edit: forgot to say that the fan is working on the GTX 560 TI card tho...

You might need to change the resolution to normal again, and then encrease it again. Try starting your windows on safe mode.

Had the same problem (power supply 450w without the 6pin connector) so I didn't worked for me either , I did buy another powersupply 750w with 2x 6 pin connector and It was solved so i gues it was the wattage.
And the fan of your card can easely run without even a connector adapted

I have the same setup as you. Expect more ram and 4ghz OC. You will love the card. I can play bf3 on ultra (without aa and af) at a solid 60fps :)
