Looks more like a new Call of duty or Medal of Honor and not Battlefield.
Battlefield-seriers have been fine without any single player campaign in the last 3 games and all 3 did fine in my eyes, not counting the 'Bad Company' games cause i don't see it having much if anything in common with the previous games, other than developer. Hoping they wont turn Battlefield completely into Bad Company and show us 64(or more) player online battles with similar types of vehicles that BF2/Vietnam/1942 had.
Also proper modding tools! Mods is what kept me coming back to BF2/Vietnam, several years after its original release.

Though it does look very nice, just hoping that fancy campaign wont put too many restrictions on the online part for the developers.

I've just read that Battlefield 3 is going to be released in November this year  Call of Duty... good bye!

Actually BF is a war simulator so i think it can't be compared with COD.I mean COD looks more like Counter Strike and it doesn't have anything common with BF other than weapons.
COD is more of a fast and atomic game,you just run and kill other players in a fun way and that's what makes it interesting.
In BF you need even a little bit of cover from your teammates so you can achive your team's goal.

For me, CoD is like Super Mario as a shooter game. (Don't ask) 
CoD is confusing me coz everything is messed up online, you're running fast as hell, the graphics look like dipped in mud. It's more a Fun Game.

But Battlefield, it's a pure shoother game. Few mistakes and u die. You always have to look out for players, not like in CoD where u can easily run away. The Graphics are bomb. I think Battlefield 3 is going to be my new Counter Strike.

I'm defenitely gonna buy that game!

i dont think battlefield is a simulator compared to games like arma or AA...

To tell you the truth i have never played these games.My uncle used to play AA a long time ago but i never tried it at all.

and if this game will be a hardcore sim shooter, 2/3 of the crying baby's that buys this game is gonna throw it away after 5 minutes... which would be cool considered less noobs online..

Lol Bf never has been hardcore sim shooter, they're on the realistic side, but still arcadish.
Go play Red Orchestra, America's army or Half life² mod Insurgency, those are more on the realistic side.
Arma and OPF are on the top of the list but I don't consider those as shooters.
