Up and testing the latest ICS leak (4.0.3 XXLP6), so far waaaaaaaaaaaaay more stable and bug free than the old leak (XXLP2). But god it uses a lot ram... And I can't find a decent kernel for it, I used to use the Siyah Kernel for gingerbread which was pure awesomeness, my phone doesn't boot with it after ICS installation. If anybody finds a good kernel for ICS please let me know!

Shieet, i stay away from those custom roms and kernels. I bricked my phone once, but never wanna again :)

Lol mine is just not working with ICS + Siyah Kernel. Right now rockin' ICS without any modded kernel, meaning no root. But still usable.

I don't really use some programs but my screen brightness is on 50% and animations are all off. Mine lasts exactly 7h.

There was some sht my bro did to his Galaxy S, loading it full, using it till it shuts down coz of low battery, load it back up, do the same again and then load it back up. I dunno if that works for other phones but for the Galaxy S it did.

I personally mostly have my screen brightness on  lowest, and when I'm not at home I turn my Wifi off and also the Mobile-internet. My battery lasts for around 8-10hours, depends on what I'm doing with it.

as some of you know, i recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S2, best purchase of my life fo sho.

i've seen you can tweak it like you can with iPhone (jailbreak), but is it stable? when i jailbroke my iPhone 3GS, it completely ****ed it up, and now i can't restore it (downgrade nor upgrade, because i had to change the baseband). will anything similar happen to my Galaxy? i love it to death and i don't want to to die on me like my previous peice of ****!

No, there's always a chance to restore the Androids :) To save all your data on your phone, use Titanium Backup.
And yes it does work stable. I prefer you to get the newest update ICS 4.0

It is free but I doubt that there is a 4.0 ICS rom for the GS plus.

I recently started using the cyanogenmod9 nightly builds, it's amazing. Vanilla built ICS is waaaay better than crappy touchwiz.

No photoshop, only used app called "Vignette", amazing quality for the 5MP.
