With the downsizing going on i wouldn't even try to tune a vw. The 1.4l Twin Turbo's are pushing 172hp and if you ask me. It's enough. Especially for daily driving. I drove a 1.4l Twin Turbo with 130hp and the average i got was 5l/100km. So they're really cheap on gas too.. Depends on your wallet though. I asked about the price and he said it's around 30k €
I think you're talking about the Golf GT
It's a 1.4L gas engine with a supercharger and a turbocharger. 130hp like you said but if I remember correctly, a monstrous 210lbft of torque. 1.4L !!! The 4AG/ B16 were barely able to make 3 digit figure torque LOL.
It's probably the most efficient gas engine mankind has seen. Too bad because they will swap the TwinCharge for a boring 2.5L inline 5 found on the current Wabbit.
