« on: December 10, 2008, 01:37:44 PM »
ok well ive been making some new skins lately(havent released), but i would like to render them, i know how to put it in blender, with simple stuff, but a tutorial for rendering would still be useful. how to change parts, rotate camera, add scenery, depth of field effects, etc, would a rendering tut be possible?

Ask Keisu or Dan, they're good at doing that. ;)

You create "planes" and put a jpeg onto them.

well you can do it 2 ways:

1. You model the background(as in buildings, objects etc)

or

2. You do it the way dan said, with planes with jpegs on them. This i only advice if you need a fast render, if you dont have a very good computer, or if you have highres pics in the right angle.

Other parts like wheels, exhausts etc are all modeled :)

Lol dont worry :)

try some blender tuturials and see if you like it, other wise you can try the trial versions of some other programs, like Rhinoceros for example (had to learn the basics of this for school :) )

Also, what i said about modeling the background, forget what i said, try the planes before. Then when you  get better at it you can try using modeld backgrounds. Just try to start with some basic studio setups, you can probably find tuturials for this on the blender site, or some other 3d sites. :)
