Well, don't look at the pictures in the tutorial, just look at the things you have to do to make it, and when you are making then just add more or less things the way you want them to be, and make them more like wet looking or the other way around. It doesn't have to be exactly the same as the tutorial...
But I don't, it was just an example, I used it twice, and it seemed to be okay, but I changed some things to more what I like. And yes, when you look at those pictures, it looks a bit funny.
