PS - zoom blur tutorial
« on: November 13, 2008, 12:01:47 AM »
As some people were requesting this tut, I've made my own little tutorial.

Step 1: Take a picture in LFS (Print Screen button) and transfer it to Photoshop (CTRL+V).

In the first part of this tutorial, you will learn how to crop the car onto a new layer
If you already know how to do it, or have done so, go to the next step.

Step 2: Select out the car and paste it on the new layer.

Step 3: Go to Filter>Blur>Radial Blur, Select your Blur Method to Zoom, Quality > Best. Play around with angles of blur and its strength (Amount).

Last Step 4: Play around with colors/contrast/brightness/curves to get the right color (once again depending on the picture), and the final result should look something like this.

Enjoy!

Great tutorials that will help you to finish this one:

That's actually the whole point of zoom in blur. It "forces" your eyes to look to a certain direction.
