Behind the Scenes of the WorX Drift Series

Here is the folder that contains everything that had to do with this competition.  From pre-planning to scoring of every run to final results.  It's all right here.

To some it might not seem like much, but I'd like to see you try it.  ;)

Thanks man.  It was alot of work but it looks like it made quite a few people happy, so I guess overall it was worth it.  ;)

Nice work while organizing. Hope there will be some other similar events in the future :). But I still have a dream about stable LFS drift league which would be held on every year... Make it solid like IGTC, but in sideways style. That would be great.

With a group of 6-10 people organizing it all of it would work well.  But it is too much work for one or even 3-5 people.

I wouldn't mind helping out a little bit with a "LFSDrift.net Championship", but I would only want to be the layout producer, and "idea maker".  Reasoning behind this is that you lose the ability to drive, or even want to drive, once you get into series admining.  If you don't believe me then ask the admins of IGTC and MoE, and they will tell you straight up that they barely race anymore because that takes up most of their LFS time.

Maybe once I get my college stuff squared away I will get a few people to help me organize a one round monster comp for LFSD.  I still need to get a comp with 100 signups  :P.  This series had over 100 different people signup over the 3 rounds, but not all for one round, and of course not all showed.

If we could get a couple of tracks into LFS, then you will definately see something by me.

I was not thinking about LFSDrift.net, it's like saying it's focused especially for the LFSd community, but not really everyone visit this place and I'm not only talking about the low-aged people, who are often dumb, stupid etc. and you don't want to have anything in common with them. Would be better to organize it via lfsforum, or at least create a presentation thread on lfsforum, the same here and the championship would have own special website.

I know what it takes and I was also thinking about to get some people together, but always forgot about it... or got into a mood like "I don't know... maybe not..." :).

Anyway, from my opinion stable LFS drift league should look like this. At least 3-5 really interested and reputable judges, who will sacrifice their time, good organizing - 1 or more people who really know what they are doing and who can type nice rules, informations and all around it.
